چکیده
In these proceedings, measurements of angular correlations between hadron pairs in pp collisions obtained by the ALICE experiment at LHC are presented and compared with phenomenological predictions. Correlations particles carrying same opposite quantum numbers studied to understand production mechanism, difference same-sign opposite-sign is used probe charge-dependent effects particle production. Correlation dominated minijet fragmentation agree well models, but other results, particular baryons strange hadrons, not yet understood.

Strange and Multi-Strange Particle Production in ALICE
The production of strange and multi-strange hadrons in proton-proton (pp) and lead-lead (Pb-Pb) collisions is studied with the ALICE experiment at the CERN LHC. These particles are reconstructed via their weak decay topologies, exploiting the tracking and particle identification capabilities of ALICE. Measurements of central rapidity yields of Λ, Ξ− and Ω− baryons, their antiparticles and KS me...
متن کاملTwo Particle Azimuthal Correlation Measurements in PHENIX
Two particle azimuthal correlation functions are presented for charged hadrons produced in Au + Au collisions at RHIC (√ s NN = 200 GeV). The correlation functions indicate sizeable asymmetries and anisotropies. The trend of the asymmetries is compatible with the presence of emission patterns associated with mini-jets. The magnitude and the trend of the differential anisotropies v 2 (p T) and v...
متن کاملCharged particle identification in the ALICE experiment
A key feature of the ALICE experiment will be the capability to identify the charged particles in the full range of momentum thus allowing to investigate the properties of the quark-gluon plasma during its dynamical evolution toward the freeze-out phase when the re-hadronization occurs. Low momentum hadron identification will be achieved via measurements of energy loss in the silicon layers of ...
متن کاملCharged particle jet measurements with the ALICE experiment in proton-proton collisions at the LHC
We present preliminary results of measurements of charged particle jet properties in proton-proton collisions at √ s = 7 TeV using the ALICE detector. Jets are reconstructed using anti − kT, kT and SISCone jet finding algorithms with resolution parameter R = 0.4 in the range of transverse momentum from 20 to 100 GeV/c in the midrapidity region (| η | < 0.5). The uncorrected charged jet spectra ...
متن کاملTwo-particle Direct Photon-Jet Correlation Measurements in PHENIX
Various 2-particle direct photon-hadron correlation yields in p + p and Au + Au collisions at √ sNN = 200 GeV are presented. The per-trigger yield of direct photon hadron pairs from direct-photon-jet correlations is obtained by a statistical subtraction of the decay photon pairs from inclusive photon-hadron sample. The decay photon pertrigger yields are estimated from the measured π-hadron by m...
